Maple Bacon Jalapeño Sauce

Ingredients
9 items- 10 jalapeño peppers
- 6 strips bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons bacon fat
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- 1Cook bacon until crispy, reserve fat. Roast jalapeños until charred. Blend peppers, bacon, maple syrup, vinegar, bacon fat, garlic, and water until mostly smooth. Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in smoked paprika. The sauce should have bacon bits throughout. Bottle and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Incredible on breakfast foods!
