9 items- 1 jar (10 oz) Calabrian chiles in oil
- 2 heads garlic, roasted
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1Roast garlic heads at 400°F wrapped in foil until soft, about 40 minutes. Squeeze out roasted garlic cloves. Blend with Calabrian chiles (including their oil), olive oil, vinegar, tomato paste, and seasonings until desired consistency. Can be chunky or smooth. No additional cooking needed. Refrigerate for up to 1 month. Amazing on pizza, pasta, or grilled vegetables.
