  • 4 jalapeño peppers
  • 1 small onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. 1Roast tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, and garlic under broiler until charred, about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly. Blend all ingredients until desired consistency - smooth or chunky. Simmer for 10 minutes to meld flavors. Cool and refrigerate. Tastes even better the next day! Keeps for 1 week.
