Ingredients
8 items- 1 lb tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 4 jalapeño peppers
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- 1Roast tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, and garlic under broiler until charred, about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly. Blend all ingredients until desired consistency - smooth or chunky. Simmer for 10 minutes to meld flavors. Cool and refrigerate. Tastes even better the next day! Keeps for 1 week.
