Restaurant map features use Google Maps. Loading or interacting with a map can send Google technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and map activity under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.

Links to other websites leave Jalapeño.info. Those destinations control their own data practices.

Newsletter addresses and submitted content reviews are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. A review may include the name, optional email address, rating, title, and text you provide. Review email addresses are for administration or follow-up and are not intended for public display. Reviews are moderated before publication.

Submitting the newsletter form asks us to store your address for occasional site updates. You can unsubscribe using a link included in an email when available, or through any contact channel published on Jalapeño.info. Please do not place sensitive personal information in public review text.

Submission records are kept only as long as reasonably useful for the newsletter, moderation, site operation, security, or applicable recordkeeping. Provider-side analytics retention depends on the settings of the relevant Google Analytics property.

Jalapeño.info does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that operate site infrastructure, analytics, maps, and database hosting, or disclosed when reasonably necessary for security or legal compliance.

You may avoid optional forms, use browser privacy controls, disable analytics through available consent controls or supported privacy signals, and avoid loading interactive maps.
